We only needed one night in Bristol and I'm so glad I found Brooks Guesthouse. They gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. There was a lift to our room and the place was very clean, tidy and tastefully furnished. There were allsorts of different styles of furniture which made it slightly quirky but with a warm friendly feel. Our room wasn't bg, but I knew that when I booked and it was very adquate for our needs. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and very hot (I hate cold food) We will have no problem booking here again later in the year, but it'll definitely be for a longer stay.

The location is fantastic for anyone working in, or wanting to visit the city centre. Bristol City Centre is less than a 2 minute walk from the guesthouse and it's a 10 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads Train Station. Right in the heart of ST Nicholas Market, there are plenty of attractions, bars and eateries just outside of the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The shower room was of an adequate size and the water was warm. The toiletries, tea and coffee replenished each day. All the staff were friendly, but a special mention for Justin a real credit to the Guesthouse.

The location is in the very center of the old city. We had a room in the building, with windows facing the courtyard, the room was quiet. The room is satisfactory size with all the amenities. Excellent tea set - tea, coffee, chocolate, cookies. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Very cozy courtyard where you can relax. We had breakfast in the restaurant opposite, so we cannot rate the breakfast at the hotel. The staff was very friendly, we could leave our luggage after check-out until the evening to walk around lightly.

We’d been tipped about this place by a family friend, in particular about the rather quirky caravans in its roof! Never ones to miss out on a unique opportunity, we booked one of said caravans. There are 4 in total, 2 x 15ft & 2 x 20ft. We booked the latter, & was quite glad we did. Space is if a premium, but well utilised. It was both cosy & comfortable, if perhaps a tad warm (it was a rare sunny day!). However, a fan is provided, which is both efficient & quiet. In short, our stay was very enjoyable? & the caravan great fun!

The hotel is in a great central location and so close to St Nicks market, which is great for food and all sorts of stuff. The staffing level appeared minimal but very kind and helpful, while multi tasking. The room was a great option for 3 friends spending a night together in Bristol and so was good value, in spite of the sofa bed not being the best option. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we were heading for Clifton but it looked good.
